On Saturday in Vancouver, Blackhawks Head Athletic Trainer Mike Gapski will take his place on the bench for the 2,000th time in his 27-year career with the organization. Gapski, a Chicago native, joined the team in 1987, and he has been honored with his name on the Stanley Cup after the championship runs in 2010 and 2013. Below, the Blackhawks Blog takes a look at some of the numbers from Gapski's tenure:

1st Star: D Travis Brown, Moose Jaw (WHL)
The Line:
5GP, 1G, 3A

Apparently unbothered by the sheer grind of playing five games in a week, Brown recorded a point in four straight games, including his eighth goal of the season on Tuesday against Lethbridge. Brown continues to lead Moose Jaw with 20 assists and 28 points, third-most among WHL defensemen.

With cameras trained upon them, every member of the 2013 Stanley Cup championship squad became movie stars over the summer, but none more so than defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson, whose sweet moves had undoubtedly the best non-verbal moments in "17 Seconds."

The movie, which contains exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage of the team from Game 6 in Boston through the banner-raising ceremony, can now be pre-ordered on DVD and Blu-Ray. A DVD of the movie will also be included with every copy of the championship book, "One Goal II: The Inside Story of the 2013 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks."

And now, it's Hammer time.

1st Star: C Kevin Hayes, Boston College (H-EAST)
The Line: 2GP, 2G, 3A, +4 plus/minus rating

Hayes extended his point streak to four games (3G, 5A), helping Boston College emerge victorious in both games over the weekend. The 2010 first-round draft pick recorded a goal and an assist on Friday in a 5-1 win at crosstown rival Boston University, then compiled three more points (1G, 2A) on Sunday as BC walloped Army 11-0. Each week, the Blackhawks Blog will give you five stats you need to know about the Blackhawks this season.

1. Wednesday’s game marked the 12th time that Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp each scored goals in the same regular-season game.

They did so four times in the 2010-11 season but only four times in three seasons since then.
