Hossa celebrates 1000th game; team\'s point streak snapped at Colorado
After celebrating Marian Hossa's 1,000th NHL game with a ceremony at the United Center, the Blackhawks notched wins against Minnesota and Colorado, followed by losses to Colorado and Edmonton. The loss to Colorado on March 8 capped the team's win streak at 11 games and point streak at 24, a franchise record and NHL record respectively.

To honor Marian Hossa's 1,000th regular-season NHL game, which the winger played on Mar. 3, 2013, against the Detroit Red Wings, the Blackhawks donned commemorative jerseys while warming up against the Minnesota Wild. The Blackhawks beat the Wild 5-3 on Mar. 5, 2013, at the United Center.

Marian Hossa's wife and daughter joined him on the ice for the pregame ceremony in his honor. "It was a special night for me, for my family," Hossa said after the game. "It was amazing to have my wife and daughter right there with me at the ceremony. It was a nice, warm welcome by the fans and I enjoyed it."
