Throwback Thursday: Trophy Time

With the NHL Awards right around the corner (Tuesday, June 24, televised on NBCSN and CBC), here's a look back at one of the most decorated Blackhawks in franchise history: Stan Mikita.

The current Blackhawks Ambassador won the Art Ross Trophy for leading the National Hockey League in scoring, the Hart Memorial Trophy as the most valuable player in the league, and the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for sportsmanship in two-straight seasons (1967 and 1968). Mikita remains the only player in league history to win the Art Ross, Hart and Lady Byng Trophies in the same season (1966-67, 1967-68).
