Chicago bench boss Joel Quenneville became the 14th NHL coach to register his 500th career victory in a 4-3 shootout decision on Dec. 1, 2009, at Columbus, which featured a team record 11 shootout rounds. Quenneville is now approaching 600 wins and is one of only three men to have both coached and played in more than 800 games.
