Hank Bassen (L) played 33 of his 156 NHL starts with Chicago, backing up Al Rollins between 1954-56, the first stop in a lengthy professional career. He was traded to Detroit in 1957 as part of the deal that helped Chicago acquire Glenn Hall and Ted Lindsay. His son, Bob, was traded to the Blackhawks in 1988 from the NY Islanders and played 55 of his 765 NHL games in Chicago.
