1st Star: C Teuvo Teravainen, Jokerit (FIN)

The Line: 2GP, 1G, 2A, +2 plus/minus rating

Teravainen contributed points in both of his appearances last week, as Jokerit extended their win streak to six games. The 2012 first-round pick netted the game-winning goal and added an assist on Oct. 29 in a 4-1 win over HIFK, then collected a helper on Saturday against Lynx. Teravainen currently ranks third on the team with 11 points (3G, 8A) in 15 tilts.

2nd Star: C Kevin Hayes, Boston College (H-EAST)

The Line: 2GP, 1G, 2A

Hayes enjoyed a big weekend as top-ranked Boston College swept their home-and-home against Northeastern. On Friday, he scored his third goal of the season and added an assist on the game-winner. The next night he recorded his sixth helper of the campaign.

3rd Star: C Anthony Louis, Miami of Ohio (NCHC)

The Line: 2GP, 1G, 2A, +3

Louis finished as a nominee for NCHC rookie of the week after a three-point weekend. The freshman center from Wheaton, Ill., registered points in both games as Miami swept Canisius, including scoring the game-winner in Saturday’s contest.

Honorable mentions: D Stephen Johns, Notre Dame (H-EAST); RW Ryan Hartman, Plymouth (OHL)

Johns opened the scoring on Saturday with his first goal of the season and added an assist in Notre Dame’s 3-2 win over Vermont.

Hartman extended his point streak to four games with a three-point weekend for Plymouth, logging a pair of helpers on Oct. 30 at Saginaw and scoring his ninth goal of the season on Nov. 1 at Mississauga.

Around the system:

Defenseman Dillon Fournier contributed a goal and an assist in Rouyn-Noranda’s 6-1 win over Quebec on Nov. 2 and continues to lead team defensemen with 15 points (7G, 8A) in 17 games; he also paces the QMHL with a +19 rating... Blueliner Shawn Lalonde recorded a goal and two assists over four games for Eisbaren Berlin last week.

Goaltender Matt Tomkins started all three games for Ohio State last week, going 2-1-0. His best performance came on Saturday vs. Minnesota-Duluth, when he made 39 saves on 41 shots in a 4-2 win... Netminder Mac Carruth started three games for Toledo and made 87 saves on 95 shots, including stopping 25 of 26 on Nov. 2 in a 3-1 win over Kalamazoo.

Several defensemen had strong weeks for Rockford, who dropped all three of their contests last week. Adam Clendening, Dylan Olsen and Klas Dahlbeck each collected a pair of assists, and Dahlbeck added his fourth goal of the season on Nov. 3.

Jimmy Hayes and Alex Broadhurst each tallied a goal and an assist in three contests. Broadhurst now ranks second in team scoring and shares fourth among AHL rookies with 11 points (4G, 7A) in 13 games... Mark McNeill netted a pair of goals last week and now paces the team with seven on the season.
