Blackhawks announce 2014-15 national television schedule

In conjunction with the National Hockey League, the Chicago Blackhawks today announced their 2014-15 regular-season national television schedule. Nationally, the Blackhawks will appear exclusively on NBC (including NBC and NBC Sports Network) 11 times. Additionally, the Blackhawks will appear in nine non-exclusive nationally televised games, totaling a league-high 20 national appearances.

The Blackhawks’ first nationally televised game is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 21, vs. Philadelphia at 7:30 p.m. CT on NBCSN. The game time for the Sunday, Jan. 4, contest vs. Dallas has been moved from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The full schedule of nationally televised games for the 2014-15 season is below. The local television schedule, including the preseason broadcast schedule, will be announced at a later date in conjunction with the Blackhawks’ exclusive rightsholders, Comcast SportsNet and WGN-TV.
