2008-09: Led Eden Prairie H.S. (Minn.) to the 2009 Minnesota Class 2A State Championship, the first ever for the Eagles … Won the 2009 Mr. Hockey Award, given annually to the most outstanding senior high school hockey player in the state of Minnesota … Led all Eden Prairie defensemen with 37 points (8G, 29A) in 25 regular-season games and added eight points (4G, 4A) in six postseason contests.

INTERNATIONAL CAREER: Won a bronze medal with Team USA at the 2011 World Junior Championship in Buffalo, N.Y., posting two assists and a +1 rating in five contests … Represented Team USA at the U18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in 2008, recording two assists in four games.
