Blackhawks Open Training Camp Sept. 13
The Chicago Blackhawks will open training camp on Tuesday, September 13th, in preparation for the 2005-06 National Hockey League season. 54 players will attend camp, including 6 goaltenders, 16 defensemen and 32 forwards. Camp Rosters>>
The players will report on Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. for physicals and photos at the United Center before heading over to the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville where they will partake in two afternoon workouts. The first group will skate from 12:00 noon until 1:30 with the second group taking the ice from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.
The Blackhawks will play an eight game pre-season schedule that includes four home games at the United Center against Calgary, Minnesota, St. Louis, and Columbus. They will also face these same clubs on the road. Three of the road pre-season games will be televised on Comcast SportsNet (September 22nd @Minnesota, September 30th @ Columbus, and October 2nd @ St. Louis) while one home pre-season game will be carried on WSCR 670 AM (September 23rd vs. St. Louis).
