Blackhawks Recall Colin Fraser
General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have recalled forward Colin Fraser from the Norfolk Admirals.
Fraser has appeared in 38 games for the Admirals this season scoring 5 goals while adding 13 assists for 18 points with 97 penalty minutes and a +4 rating.
Fraser, 21, was acquired by the Blackhawks from the Philadelphia Flyers in a trade that also brought Jim Vandermeer and a 2nd round draft pick to the Blackhawks in exchange for Alex Zhamnov on February 19, 2004.
Fraser played his junior hockey for Red Deer in the WHL under the coaching of former Blackhawk Brent Sutter. He finished the 2004-05 season at Norfolk and played all of last season for the Admirals.
Fraser has never played in an NHL game.
