Prospect Watch: Hat Trick for McCulloch

Akim Aliu

Aliu was held scoreless as London saw a nine-game winning streak snapped with a 2-1 OT loss to Niagara Friday. Aliu also went scoreless in London's 8-5 loss to Brampton Sunday. He has 50 points (21-28) in 49 games this season.

 

Dan Bertram

Bertram scored the game-winning goal to lead No. 9 Boston College to` a 4-1 win over Massachusetts Friday. In 26 games this season Bertram has six goals and 17 assists.

 

Simon Danis-Pepin

Danis-Pepin had an assist as Maine lost 4-1 to No. 5 New Hampshire Saturday; he scored a goal in Maine's 3-2 loss to New Hampshire Friday. He has four goals and five assists in 26 games this season.

Davis made his return to the Miami lineup this weekend after missing two months as Miami lost to No. 1 Michigan 4-2 on Friday and settled for a 5-5 tie with Michigan Saturday. Davis had an assist Friday and scored the game-tying goal Saturday. Miami fell to No. 2 but earned a first-round bye for the CCHA playoffs.

 

Joseph Fallon

Fallon made 17 saves as Vermont suffered a 4-3 overtime loss to No. 12 Providence Saturday; he made 36 saves as Vermont defeated Providence 2-1 Friday. Coming into Saturday's game, Fallon had averaged 33 saves per game; Vermont is 4-1-2 in the last seven. In 20 games this year, Fallon has a GAA of 2.94, a .903 SV% and is 6-9-5.

McCulloch scored his third career hat trick in No. 3 Colorado College's 5-3 win over St. Cloud State Friday but was scoreless as Colorado College lost 4-2 to St. Cloud Saturday. McCulloch has 11 points (8-3) in his last six games. With six games remaining, Colorado College is one win away from clinching home ice advantage in the WCHA playoffs. In 24 games this season, McCulloch has 11 goals and six assists for 17 points.

Unice made 20 saves as Kitchener won 3-2 over Sault Ste. Marie Saturday; he stopped 20 shots in Kitchener's 6-5 loss to Sudbury Friday. Unice is 27-5 this season with a GAA of 2.55 and a .905 SV%. Unice ranks 4th in the OHL in GAA, 3rd in wins, and is in a three-way tie for 1st in shutouts.
