Akim Aliu

Aliu had two goals and was the 2nd star of the game Saturday as London defeated Belleville 4-3 in OT. Two goals and an assist in London's 6-4 win over Ottawa earned Aliu the first star of the game Sunday. He has 55 points (25-30) in 54 games this season.

 

Dan Bertram

Bertram scored on the power play and added an assist as No. 8 Boston College won 5-2 over No. 20 UMass-Lowell Saturday; he was scoreless in a 4-1 loss to UMass-Lowell Friday. In 29 games this season Bertram has seven goals and 18 assists.

 

Simon Danis-Pepin

Danis-Pepin had scored a point in three straight games and in five of the last six games but was held scoreless over the weekend as Maine lost to Boston University 1-0 Saturday and 2-1 Friday, both in overtime. He has four goals and five assists in 28 games this season.

Davis had as assist as No. 5 Miami lost 6-5 to Ferris State on Friday but was scoreless as Miami lost again to Ferris State Saturday, this time 3-1. Davis has four points (1-3) since returning to the Miami lineup February 8. Miami is on a four-game winless streak.

 

Joseph Fallon

Fallon stopped 19 shots as Vermont won 2-1 over Merrimack Saturday; he made 15 saves as Vermont defeated Merrimack 4-1 Friday. Fallon is 5-1-1 and has a GAA of 1.81 in his last seven starts. In 20 games this year, Fallon has a GAA of 2.94, .903 SV% and is 6-9-5.

 

Igor Makarov

Makarov was scoreless over the weekend. He has four goals and 11 assists in 45 games this season.

 

 

Scott McCulloch

McCulloch and No. 2 Colorado College had a bye week; they return to action Feb. 22-23 at Minnesota-Duluth. McCulloch earned recognition as a WCHA Scholar-Athlete (GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale for two previous semesters, three quarters, or cumulatively). In 24 games this season, McCulloch has 11 goals and six assists for 17 points.

 

Bill Sweatt

Sweatt and No. 2 Colorado College had a bye week; they return to action Feb. 22-23 at Minnesota-Duluth. Sweatt has 21 points (8 goals, 13 assists) in 26 games this season.

Unice made 23 saves as Kitchener won 2-1 over Plymouth Saturday; Unice is 28-5 this season with a GAA of 2.55 and a .905 SV%. Unice ranks 3rd in the OHL in GAA and wins, and is in a three-way tie for 1st in shutouts.

* Goaltender Mike Brodeur was named the ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Feb. 4-10; he was 2-0-1 with a GAA of 1.59 and a .947SV% over that span.
