Akim Aliu

Aliu returned from a four game suspension to score a goal Friday as London defeated Erie 7-0; on Saturday he tallied a goal and an assist in a 6-5 victory over Owen Sound. Aliu now has 61 points in 60 games this season (28-33). London will face Guelph in the best-of-seven first round of the OHL playoffs beginning Friday, Mar. 21.

 

Dan Bertram

Bertram had two assists as Boston College defeated Providence 5-1 Friday. He had a goal as Boston College won 2-1 over Providence Saturday to advance to the semifinal of the Hockey East Championships on Friday, Mar. 21 to face New Hampshire. In 35 games this season Bertram has eight goals and 22 assists.

 

Simon Danis-Pepin

Danis-Pepin had four goals and eight assists in 34 games this season. Maine's season has ended.

 

Nathan Davis

Davis scored the eventual game-winning goal as Miami won 4-1 over Bowling Green on Friday. Davis also scored the game-winner on the power play as Miami defeated Bowling Green 4-2 Saturday. With the series sweep Miami faces Notre Dame in the CCHA semifinals Friday, Mar. 21. Davis has 17 points (8-9) in 18 games this season.

 

Joseph Fallon

Fallon made 22 saves for his third shutout of the season to lead Vermont to a 1-0 win over Northeastern. Northeastern won 2-1 in OT to force a game three; Fallon made 31 saves. Vermont then won 4-1 Sunday as Fallon made 22 saves. Vermont faces Boston University in the semifinal of the Hockey East Championship on Friday, Mar. 21. In 31 games this season Fallon has a GAA of 2.40, a .914 SV% and is 14-12-5.

 

Igor Makarov

Makarov has two goals and one assist in eight playoff games. SKA won the series 3-2 over Spartak to advance to the quaterfinals where they are up against Yaroslavl and lead the series 2-1; the next game is Monday, Mar. 17.

 

 

Scott McCulloch

McCulloch scored an empty net goal as Colorado College won Game 1 over Alaska Anchorage 4-1 Friday; he was scoreless as Colorado College won 3-2 in overtime Saturday to sweep Alaska Anchorage to advance to the WCHA Final Five. Colorado College will play the winner of the Thursday, March 20 Minnesota-St. Cloud match up on Friday, Mar. 21. In 34 games this season, McCulloch has 13 goals and eight assists for 21 points.

 

Bill Sweatt

Sweatt had one assist as Colorado College took Game 1 over Alaska Anchorage 4-1 Friday. Sweatt then scored a goal and assisted on the game-winning goal in Colorado College's 3-2 win over Alaska Anchorage Saturday. Colorado College advanced to the WCHA Final Five and will play the winner of the Thursday, March 20 Minnesota-St. Cloud game on Friday, March 21. Sweatt has 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists) in 34 games this season.

Tanguay was scoreless over the weekend and Victoriaville was winless over the weekend after a 4-1 loss to Val-d'Or Friday and a 4-0 by Rouyn-Noranda Sunday.

Unice made 33 saves in Kitchener's 3-2 loss to Windsor Sunday as his record fell to 30-6 this season with a GAA of 2.45 and a .908 SV%. Unice ranks 3rd in GAA and 4th in wins, and has four shutouts on the season. Kitchener will face Plymouth in the best-of-seven first round of the OHL playoffs Friday, Mar. 21.
