Akim Aliu

Aliu dished out an assist as the London Knights lost 6-3 to Owen Sound Friday. He has appeared in eight games for the Knights so far this season, registering four goals, four assists and 19 penalty minutes. The Knights currently hold a 17-6-0 record.

 

Kyle Beach

Beach did not appear as Everett fell to Tri-City 2-1 Wednesday, due to his participation in the CHL-Russia Challenge where he scored a goal in two games against Russia.

Beach returned to Everett Friday and registered one assist in the third period and 11 penalty minutes in a 3-0 win over Portland. In a 6-3 loss to Kootenay Saturday, Beach tallied two assists and five penalty minutes. In 20 appearances with Everett this season, he has seven goals, 15 assists and 62 penalty minutes.

 

Jonathan Carlsson

Carlsson earned two penalty minutes as Brynäs IF defeated Södertälje SK 1-0 Monday, fell to Rögle BK 4-3 Thursday and defeated Timrå IK 2-1 on Saturday. In 27 contests this season, Carlsson has one assist and four penalty minutes. Brynäs IF is currently 13-11-4 o.

 

Simon Danis-Pepin

Danis-Pepin was held scoreless as Maine fell to Vermont 3-2 Saturday. In 12 games this season, he has four assists and 13 penalty minutes. The Black Bears are currently to 7-4-1 on the season.

 

Shawn Lalonde

Lalonde was held scoreless as Belleville defeated Erie 4-2 Thursday. He registered a goal in the second period and two penalty minutes in overtime as Belleville defeated Guelph 3-2 (OT) Friday. In a 5-3 loss to Owen Sound Saturday Lalonde tallied one assist in the first period. In 29 contests this season, he has seven goals, 14 assists and 35 penalty minutes. The Bulls are currently 19-7-2 on the season.

 

Joe Lavin

Lavin racked up two penalty minutes as Providence College fell to Dartmouth 4-2 Friday and added two more in the first period the following evening in a 4-2 loss to Union College. In 10 appearances this season, Lavin has one assist and 10 penalty minutes. The Friars are currently 2-11-1 on the season.

Makarov drew 27 PIM as St. Petersburg defeated the Ak Bars 5-1 Tuesday, fell to Neftekhimik 3-2 (SO) Thursday, defeated Lada 2-0 Friday and Khimik 2-1 Sunday. In 19 games this season, Makarov has two goals, four assists and 35 penalty minutes.

Smith was held scoreless as Boston College defeated Harvard 5-1 Friday and Dartmouth 2-1 (OT) Sunday. Smith has two goals, six assists and two penalty minutes so far this year. B.C. is currently 9-4-1 on the season.

 

Bill Sweatt

Sweatt had his team's lone goal as Colorado College fell to the Air Force Academy 4-1 Friday. The following evening, Sweatt registered one goal as Colorado defeated Colgate University 3-2. In 16 contests this season, Sweatt has seven goals, six assists and 18 penalty minutes. Colorado is currently 9-4-3 on the season.

 

Josh Unice

Unice was selected to represent Team USA at the 2009 World Junior Championships. He started in net as Kitchener defeated Sudbury 6-2 Friday. The following evening, the Rangers defeated Sault Ste. Marie 3-2. Unice has appeared in 12 contests this season, logging 664 minutes, a 3.34 GAA, and an .891 SV%. The Rangers are currently 13-10-1 this season.
