Akim Aliu

Aliu registered a goal in the second period as Sudbury defeated Barrie 7-3 Wednesday. He was held scoreless in a 3-2 shootout loss to Brampton Friday. Since being traded to Sudbury, Aliu has one goal, one assist and 13 penalty minutes. Sudbury is currently 19-20-5 on the season.

 

Kyle Beach

Beach was named the first star of the game Tuesday after posting two goals in a 6-2 win over Moose Jaw. In a 4-3 shootout win over Prince Albert Wednesday, he had an unassisted goal in the third period. Beach was held scoreless as Lethbridge defeated Swift Current 4-2 Friday. He was named the third star of the game in a 3-2 overtime loss to Saskatoon Saturday after registering a goal in the first period. In six appearances with Lethbridge this season, Beach has six goals, two assists and six penalty minutes. The club is currently 15-8-0 on the year.

 

Jonathan Carlsson

Carlsson was held scoreless as Brynäs IF fell to MODO Hockey 2-1 Thursday and posted a 3-1 win over Frölunda HC Saturday. In 42 contests this season, Carlsson has one assist and 45 penalty minutes.

 

Simon Danis-Pepin

Danis-Pepin was held scoreless as Maine fell to Bentley 3-1 Friday and tied Providence 2-2 in overtime Sunday. In 19 games this year, Danis-Pepin has five assists and 17 penalty minutes. The Black Bears are currently 10-7-2 on the season.

 

Shawn Lalonde

Lalonde tallied an assist in the second period as Belleville defeated Kingston 5-3 Friday. The following evening Lalonde registered another assist in the first period in a 7-1 win over Sault Ste. Marie. In 45 contests this season, Lalonde has 13 goals, 21 assists and 51 penalty minutes. The Bulls currently hold a 29-13-4 record.

 

Joe Lavin

Lavin registered a goal in the second period as Omaha fell to Lincoln 5-3 Saturday. He has appeared in seven games for the club since coming over from Providence University, registering a goal, four assists and eight penalty minutes. Omaha is currently 17-12-4 on the season.

Makarov registered three goals in three games as St. Petersburg defeated Severstal 4-1 Tuesday, fell to Vityaz 5-4 Thursday and posted a 4-0 loss to CSKA Saturday. In 32 games this season, Makarov has seven goals, five assists and 51 penalty minutes.

Smith tallied an assist in the second period as Boston tied UMass-Lowell 3-3 Friday. He was held scoreless the following evening in a 5-2 loss to Boston University. In 20 contests this season, Smith has three goals, seven assists and four penalty minutes. B.C. is currently 9-8-3 on the season.

 

Bill Sweatt

Sweatt was held scoreless as Colorado fell to Wisconsin 6-1 Friday. In a 4-3 win over Wisconsin on Saturday, Sweatt posted an assist in the third period. In 25 contests, Sweatt has nine goals, nine assists and 24 penalty minutes. Colorado is currently 13-9-5 on the season.

 

Josh Unice

Unice did not appear as Windsor defeated Owen Sound 5-4 Thursday. The following evening, Unice had 23 saves in a 4-2 win over Kitchener. He did not appear in a 6-1 win over Barrie Saturday. Unice has appeared in two games for the club, logging 120 minutes, a 2.00 GAA and an .926 SV%. The Spitfires are currently 39-5-1 on the year.
