Dan Bertram had a pair of assists in Boston College's 4-0 win over Miami (Ohio) Sunday in the Northeast Regional final of the NCAA Division I Northeast Regional hockey tournament Sunday. The win was BC's 12th straight as they'll now advance to the Frozen Four in St. Louis (April 5-7) for the second year in a row.

Evan Brophey, an alternate captain for Plymouth, scored the OT game-winner in the Whalers' 3-2 win over Guelph Saturday in the opening game of their best-of-seven series. He was named the #1 star of the game ... On Sunday, Brophey went scoreless but was a +2 as Plymouth won 5-3. In a 7-1 drubbing of Guelph Tuesday night, Brophey had 2 assists, one on the power play. Plymouth can sweep the series Thursday.

Simon Danis-Pepin went scoreless in Maine's 3-1 win over Massachusetts Saturday in the East Regional championship game. Maine had lost four straight games to UMass earlier this month. Maine will face Michigan State in the Frozen Four semifinal.

Jonathan Toews had an assist in North Dakota's 3-2 upset of top-seeded Minnesota Sunday in the NCAA West Region final. UND will make it's third consecutive trip to the Frozen Four ... UND captain Chris Porter scored at 9:43 of overtime to win it for the Fighting Sioux and was named the tournament's most outstanding player.
