Blackhawks Re-Sign Mark Bell
The Blackhawks have agreed to terms with restricted free agent Mark Bell on a one-year deal.

Bell recorded 21 goals and 24 assists in 2003-04 for the Blackhawks and spent part of the lockout year in Norway. In 36 games with Trondheim, Bell had 16 goals and 23 assists.

New Hawks coach Trent Yawney plans to try Bell at center during training camp. Bell was drafted as a center out of Ottawa.

General Manager Dale Tallon said the Blackhawks have also agreed in principle on a new deal with restricted free agent center Tyler Arnason.

Check chicagoblackhawks.com Friday for our sit-down with Bell as he discusses his time in Norway, his optimism for this season and who he would pick to be the next Hawks captain.
