Blackhawks Activate Madden From Injured Reserve
The Chicago Blackhawks have activated center John Madden from Injured Reserve.

Madden, 36, has registered nine goals, nine assists, and 12 penalty minutes in 59 games this season with the Blackhawks, his first as a member of the club. He paces club forwards in blocked shots (44) and short-handed ice time (2:26/game).

The Toronto, Ontario native spent the first ten seasons of his National Hockey League career with the New Jersey Devils, where he won two Stanley Cups (2000, 2003) and the 2001 Frank J. Selke Award as the NHL’s top defensive forward. Madden has posted 315 points (149G,166A) in 771 regular-season contests and 41 points (20G,21A) in 112 Stanley Cup Playoff games in his career.
