The Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed left wing Bryan Bickell to a three-year contract and right wing Jack Skille to a one-year contract.

Overall, the Bowmanville, Ontario, native has notched five goals, six points and nine penalty minutes in 23 career regular-season tilts with the Blackhawks over parts of three seasons (2006-07; 2007-08 and 2009-10).

Chicago’s third choice, 41st overall, in the 2004 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Bickell ranked fifth on the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs with 16 goals and collected 31 points and 58 penalty minutes in 65 regular-season tilts during the campaign. He has appeared in 228 career AHL regular-season contests with the Norfolk Admirals (2006-07) and IceHogs (2007-10) since turning pro in 2006, registering 51 goals, 58 assists, 109 points and 236 penalty minutes.

Skille, 23, has appeared in 30 games with the Blackhawks over the last three seasons (2007-10) collecting eight points (5G, 3A) and five penalty minutes, including two points (G, A) in six regular-season games with Chicago during the 2009-10 campaign.

Selected by the Blackhawks with the seventh overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Skille ranked second on the Rockford IceHogs with a career-high 23 goals last season, pacing the squad in both power-play (9) and shorthanded markers (2). The Madison, Wisconsin, native dished out a career-best 26 assists and ranked third on the club with 49 points in 63 AHL regular-season tilts. He was selected to represent Rockford in the 2010 AHL All-Star Game.

Overall, Skille has racked up 63 goals, 73 assists, 136 points and 150 penalty minutes in 189 career AHL regular-season contests with the Norfolk Admirals (2007) and IceHogs (2007-10).
