The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned forwards Phillip Danault and Mark McNeill to their junior clubs.
The Blackhawks’ training camp roster now stands at 52 active players, which includes 32 forwards, 16 defensemen, and four goaltenders.
Chicago continues the 2011 preseason on Thursday, Sept. 22 when the club visits the Pittsburgh Penguins at Consol Energy Center. The contest is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT and can be heard on WGN Radio 720-AM .
