The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned forward Rob Klinkhammer to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.
The Blackhawks’ training camp roster now stands at 30 active players, which includes 18 forwards, 9 defensemen, and three goaltenders.
The Blackhawks wrap up their 2011 preseason home schedule on Friday, Sept. 30at 7:30 p.m. CT when they welcome the Pittsburgh Penguins to the United Center. The game will be broadcast locally on Comcast SportsNet Chicago and can be heard on WGN Radio AM-720.
