Blackhawks agree to terms with 2010 draft pick Flick
Flick, 21, recorded 13 points (7G, 6A), a +2 plus/minus rating and 91 penalty minutes in 45 regular-season tilts with the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs this season during his professional debut. He also notched four goals, six assists and 43 penalty minutes in 17 contests with the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye.
Originally selected by the Blackhawks in the fourth round (120th overall) of the 2010 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Flick spent three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Mississauga-St. Michael’s Majors from 2008-11. The London, Ontario, native registered 99 points (46G, 53A), a +29 rating and 393 penalty minutes in 181 career regular-season games, and paced the team in penalty minutes in each of his last two campaigns. Flick tallied 22 points (11G, 11A) and 92 penalty minutes in 46 OHL postseason tilts, and was a part of the Majors club that hosted the 2011 Memorial Cup.
