The Chicago Blackhawks will host a watch party for fans for the 2012 National Hockey League Entry Draft on Friday, June 22 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at Union Park Lounge (228 South Racine Ave., Chicago).

Former Blackhawks draft picks Ben Smith (2008), Kyle Beach (2008) and Joe Lavin (2007) will sign autographs for fans, and radio analyst Troy Murray will host the event, recalling previous Drafts and Chicago selections and discussing the newest member of the organization immediately after he puts on the Blackhawks sweater for the first time.

All attendees will have the opportunity to win prizes by participating in Blackhawks Draft Bingo, and meet the Blackhawks Ice Crew. Union Park Lounge will offer an $18 food and drink special that includes three free drinks and an all-you-can-eat buffet.

The first round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, will be held on Friday, June 22 starting at 6:00 p.m. CT live on NBC Sports Network. Rounds 2-7 will be held on Saturday, June 23 starting at 9:00 a.m. CT on the NHL Network.

The Blackhawks hold the 18th overall selection in the first round of the 2012 Draft and eight selections in total over the two days.
