The 21-year-old winger has appeared in 14 contests for Rockford this season, gathering two assists, a professional career-high 44 penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating.
During the 2011-12 season, Paradis completed his first full professional campaign, notching 16 points (5g-11a) in 58 games for Rockford. Paradis also skated in four games for Rockford during the 2010-11 campaign, tallying one goal and two penalty minutes. The Normandin, Quebec native was named Rockford’s Heavy Hitter in 2011-12 as well.
Before joining the IceHogs, Paradis had a brief four-game stint with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies during the 2009-10 campaign. He also skated in 233 career contests with the Shawinigan Cataractes (2007-10) and the Prince Edward Island Rocket (2010-11) of the QMJHL while potting 77 career goals, 93 assists and 307 penalty minutes.
