Bollig
The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned forward Brandon Bollig to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Bollig, 26, has appeared in 11 games with the Blackhawks this season, recording 40 penalty minutes. The St. Charles, Mo., native has earned 98 penalty minutes in 29 career regular-season games with the Blackhawks and scored one goal in four Stanley Cup playoff games during the 2011-12 postseason.

The Blackhawks return to action tonight when they host the Colorado Avalanche at the United Center. Tonight’s game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and can be seen nationally on NBC Sports Network or heard on WGN-720AM.
