Olesz, 27, has not appeared in a game with Chicago this season. The Bilovec, Czech Republic, native appeared in six games with the Blackhawks in 2011-12 and has recorded 132 points (57G, 75A) in 355 career National Hockey League games with Florida and Chicago.
The Blackhawks return to action tonight when they travel to Columbus to open a four-game road trip. Tonight’s contest is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT, and can be seen locally on Comcast SportsNet Chicago and heard on WGN Radio AM-720.
