Blackhawks agree to terms with Bollig

Bollig, a member of the 2013 Stanley Cup Champion team, has tallied a career-high 12 points (6g, 6a) in 62 games this season with the Blackhawks. He currently leads the team with 138 hits and 69 penalty minutes. He scored his first-career NHL goal/point in Chicago’s opening-night win over Washington on Oct. 1 and posted a career-best two points (1g, 1a) on Nov. 2 at Winnipeg.
The 27-year-old forward has appeared in 105 career games with the Blackhawks and registered 24 points (13g, 11a) in 146 career American Hockey League games with the Rockford IceHogs from 2009 to 2013. Prior to his professional career, the St. Charles, Mo., native appeared in 78 games with St. Lawrence University from 2008 to 2010, tallying 38 points (13g, 25a).
Bollig was originally signed by the Blackhawks as a free agent on April 3, 2010.
