Welcome to the Chicago Blackhawks' Amateur Hockey section. Our goal is to increase the awareness, enthusiasm and participation of youth, high school, disabled and adult / women’s hockey in the area. Please use this section to get updates on all the Blackhawks hockey programs, events, clinics and more.

Blackhawk Cup - Presented By Hinckley Springs
The Blackhawk Cup is the Illinois state championship for competitive youth hockey. The competition is designed to raise the visibility of hockey in Illinois and to provide all competitors with the goal of becoming champions.

Harris Bank Youth Hockey Player and Coach of the Month
The Chicago Blackhawks and Harris Bank are committed to honoring our hockey community by congratulating a youth hockey player and coach each month during the season.

Jr. Blackhawks
The first-ever Jr. Blackhawks hockey team was created to enhance the Blackhawks' relationship with the youth hockey community by competing in local and out-of-state spring tournaments. The team, comprised of 10-year-olds, travel to St. Louis, Chicago and Edmonton to experience a tournament atmosphere similar to the pros. The Edmonton  Brick Tournament has had many NHLers come through their doors, including Dustin Byfuglien, Brent Seabrook and Jonathan Toews. JuniorHawks - Presented by Meijer
The Blackhawks give qualifying local youth hockey teams the opportunity to play a 60-minute game on the United Center ice prior to every home game. The Blackhawks have hosted more than 600 youth hockey teams since the program's inception.

MinorHawks / OneGoal
Taking the first steps as a hockey player can be daunting. OneGoal will ease you into the sport by introducing you to hockey and helping you find the right equipment, rink and program near you. Hockey is a great way for kids to bond and develop skills they need to be winners in life.

The NEW Chicago Blackhawks Coaches Club
Sponsored by Athletico and the U.S. Marines

The Coaches Club is designed to give you, the Coach, an inside look into the NHL coaching ranks. Membership includes quarterly emails, coaching clinics, special ticket offers and more! This program is designed to improve coaches of every level by providing practice drills, game management advice, nutritional tips and off-ice training information. The CBCC follows the guidelines of USA Hockey s American Development Model.
   

Special Hockey Programs
The Hawks and Blackhawk Charities are devoted to expanding chances for youth from diverse backgrounds to play hockey. This commitment is seen through Blackhawk Charities funded programs such as:
  • The RIC Blackhawks adult sled hockey program for individuals with lower body limitations
  • TOMAHAWKS, a hockey program for kids with special needs
  • American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association - www.ahiha.org
  • AHAI's Diversity task force which brings the sport of hockey to individuals who might not otherwise have the chance to play or participate

StreetHawks Hockey Program
The Blackhawks and the NHL are proud sponsors of the StreetHawks hockey program. StreetHawks provides children ages 6-16 the opportunity to participate in sneaker hockey in a safe, supervised environment.

Youth Hockey Camps - Supported by Athletico
