VICE PRESIDENT, AMATEUR SCOUTING
Mark Kelley is in his ninth season with the Chicago Blackhawks and his first as Vice President of Amateur Scouting after being promoted on February 4, 2016.
Kelley joined the Blackhawks in 2006 as an Amateur Scout. Before joining the team, he worked for the Pittsburgh Penguins for 13 years (1993-2006) and Quebec Nordiques for five years (1988-93), and his role evolved from being a scout in the New England area to eventually covering all of North America. Kelley also lived in Moscow, Russia, serving as Assistant General Manager of CSKA Red Army while scouting European players for the Penguins.
Kelley attended Colby College from 1976 to 1980 and played varsity hockey all four years. He then played a year of Australian League hockey before returning to his alma mater as an Assistant Coach.
Kelley and his wife, Sabrina, have two sons, Kyle and Tyler.
