Pete Hassen is in his eighth season with the Chicago Blackhawks and his first as Senior Executive Director of Marketing and Fan Development

Hassen assists in all aspects of the team’s marketing, fan and brand development and player relations, and oversees the day-to-day operations of Chicago Blackhawks Charities. He conducts research and manages projects to push the Blackhawks brand into the mainstream and develop the team’s overall fan base.

Before joining the Blackhawks, Hassen was the Senior Manager of Media Relations and Corporate Communications for Delaware North Companies, whose clients included the Boston Bruins. Prior to that, he served as Director of Community Development and Public Relations for the Buffalo Sabres. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Hassen holds degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo and Central Michigan University.
