STEVE WAIGHT
SENIOR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS

Steve Waight is in his 13th season with the Chicago Blackhawks and his first as Senior Executive Director of Corporate Sponsorships.

Waight is responsible for all advertising sales, including print, Internet, signage, promotions, radio and social media, and all sponsorships affiliated with Blackhawks youth hockey programs and Chicago Blackhawks Charities. Since the 2008-09 season, the corporate sponsorship department has experienced a 175 percent increase in revenue with more than 125 corporate sponsors.

Prior to joining the organization, Waight served as Corporate Sales Manager for the San Diego Chargers. In that role, he was in charge of selling corporate sponsorships for the Chargers and Qualcomm Stadium.

A native of Naperville, Ill., Waight is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a double major in marketing and finance. He and his wife, Katharine, have two children, David and Bridget.
