Every year Chicago Blackhawks Charities uses the funds raised throughout the season to give grants to local nonprofit organizations. These organizations work along with Chicago Blackhawks Charities to support programs focused on education, health and wellness and homeless.
The Application Process
In the beginning of each calendar year Chicago Blackhawks Charities begins accepting letters of inquiry from interested nonprofit organizations in the Chicagoland area. Upon review, Chicago Blackhawks Charities invites befitting organizations to complete a grant application. The application process concludes at the end of February when the final review process begins. Grant applicants can apply for funding from Chicago Blackhawks Charities exclusively or for a grant from the Chicago Blackhawks Community Fund, a fund of the McCormick Foundation. Grant recipients are typically notified in late July or early August.

Please note: Due to the delayed season and unknown budget for the next grant cycle, please be patient with us while we review the applications. Once we have determined our capabilities for next season, we will reach out to each of the applicants. Thank you for understanding.
