Special Youth Hockey Programs
The Blackhawks are devoted to expanding chances for youth from diverse backgrounds to play hockey. This commitment is seen through Blackhawk Charities funded programs such as:
- The RIC Blackhawks adult sled hockey program for individuals with lower body limitations.
- TOMAHAWKS, a hockey program for kids with special needs.
- American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association - www.ahiha.org.
- AHAI's Diversity task force which brings the sport of hockey to individuals who might not otherwise have the chance to play or participate.
