In conjunction with the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI), the Chicago Blackhawks will host the 2013 Illinois State High School Hockey Championships at the United Center on Sunday, March 24th. Tickets for the event, which features three contests, are on sale now.
Watch the best of high school hockey and meet Eddie O! Blackhawks Television Color Analyst Eddie Olczyk will be signing autographs at the Fresh Wave Sport booth on the 100-level concourse from 4-5 p.m. ahead of the Boys Red Division game.
For the third consecutive year the Boys State Championship tilt will be broadcast live in high-definition on Comcast SportsNet Chicago at 6 p.m. with Judd Sirott and Steve Konroyd on the call. March 24th at the United Center will feature a full day of action with the Illinois Girls State Championship (12:30 p.m.), the Boys Combined Division State Championship (3 p.m.) and the Boys State Championship (6 p.m.).

This marks the 26th year that AHAI will host their State Championship at the United Center/Chicago Stadium. The 2012 title was won by St. Rita in the boy’s Red division, Glenbard in the Combined Division and New Trier in the girl’s.
