NHL rights transferred to Los Angeles after NHL club purchased Springfield (AHL) franchise, May, 1967. Traded to Chicago by Los Angeles with Bryan Campbell and Gerry Desjardins for Gilles Marotte, Jim Stanfield and Denis DeJordy, February 20, 1970. Suffered eventual career-ending neck injury in game vs. Montreal, April 18, 1976.
