2007-08: Made his professional debut with the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs, notching 15 assists, 19 points and 64 penalty minutes in 74 games … Posted a season-high three points (one goal, two assists) in his second professional game on Oct. 13 at the Iowa Stars … Collected multiple points five times during the campaign.

2006-07: Served as an alternate captain and helped the Plymouth Whalers captured the OHL Championship and earn a berth in the Memorial Cup … Ranked fifth in the OHL with 71 points and shared sixth with 107 points – both career and team highs – in 68 contests … Ranked second on the Whalers with a career-most 36 goals … Accrued a career-most 91 penalty minutes … Ranked seventh in the league with 23 points and tied for seventh with 14 assists in 20 playoff contests … Finished as the runner-up for the Leo Lalonde Memorial Trophy as the OHL’s Top Overage Player … Skated in the OHL All-Star Classic for the Western Conference … Named the second-best player on face-offs, third smartest player and third-best playmaker in the Western Conference Coaches Poll … Notched a career-best five assists on Sept. 23 … Opened the season with 13 assists in the first five tilts … Named the OHL Player of the Month for December (seven goals, 19 assists).
