Hockey Fights Cancer

Hockey Fights Cancer is supported by NHL Member Clubs, NHL Alumni, the NHL Officials' Association, Professional Hockey Trainers and Equipment Managers, marketing partners, broadcast partners and fans throughout North America. The charity's largest initiative is the annual Hockey Fights Cancer On-Line Charity Auction. Coinciding with festivities surrounding the NHL All-Star Game, the auction has raised more than $1.6 million since it began in 2000.
- Once-In-A-Lifetime Online Charity Auction: Each year, the Chicago Blackhawks offer one lucky bidder an exclusive package that includes tickets, that includes tickets, a Zamboni ride, the chance to meet Blackhawk players and more. This offer is available for auction on the NHL website as part of Hockey Fights Cancer awareness month.
- Online Jersey Auction: Each season, the team captain of each NHL team wears a special Hockey Fights Cancer patch at a select game in January. These jerseys are then auctioned online to benefit Hockey Fights Cancer.
- Hockey's All-Star Kids: This program facilitates interaction between players and young patients with cancer and other illnesses in childhood. The Blackhawks make yearly visits to hospitals to spend time with the young patients.
