GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Steven Reinprecht has found a home alongside Shane Doan.
Reinprecht had a goal and two assists, and Doan added a goal and an assist, and the Phoenix Coyotes held on to beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 Thursday night for their third straight win.
Paul Mara and Geoff Sanderson also scored for the Coyotes, who have won three of four including two against Chicago in the past five days.
Reinprecht, acquired from the Calgary Flames on February 1, has two goals and five assists in his last three games.
"Right now we're just feeding off each other," Reinprecht said of his linemates, Doan and Fredrik Sjostrom. "I've got more confidence every game. It's been fun playing with each other."
James Wisniewski, Michael Holmqvist and Kyle Calder scored for the Blackhawks, who have lost six of their last seven.
Reinprecht broke a 2-2 tie at 16:37 of the second period, gaining control of a blocked shot by Dennis Seidenberg in the left faceoff circle, wheeling and beating Craig Anderson for a power-play goal.
Sanderson extended the lead to 4-2 with 5:22 remaining.
Calder cut the lead to 4-3 with 1:19 remaining, scoring on a rebound with Anderson off the ice and Chicago already on the power-play.
"We battled back," Calder said. "We were behind the eight ball the entire game. They're hungry and you have to mach their intensity."
The Blackhawks went back on the power play when Zbynek Michalek was whistled for tripping with 29.7 seconds remaining, but Jamie Rivers blocked a shot and David LeNevue made one final save for the win in his first start since November 20.
"I felt really solid and on top of my game," said LeNevue, who was 10-16-2 with San Antonio before being recalled Wednesday. "There's always a little bit of nerves when you come back up after being down for so long but I got over it quickly."
Mara gave the Coyotes a short-lived 1-0 lead at 11:15 of the first period, shoving home his own rebound off a wraparound attempt against Anderson.
Wisniewski tied the game 44 seconds later following a series of drop passes, the last from Patrick Sharp, beating LeNevue from between the circles for his first career goal.
Phoenix regained the lead 2-1 at 13:57 of the first when Doan took a pass from Reinprecht at the left side of the net, batted the puck to the right and beat Anderson to the right side of the goal.
"What's making their line so strong is that they are strong and disciplined in their own zone," said Coyotes coach Wayne Gretzky. "They aren't cheating. They're making their own bounces and when they get into the offensive zone they're unselfish with the puck."
Holmqvist made it 2-2 at 15:39 of the period on a one-timer from the high slot.
"We had our chances," said Blackhawks coach Trent Yawney. "Their guy played well, but the most impressive thing is they play hard until the final buzzer. That's a credit to them."
Notes: Coyotes defenseman Derek Morris blocked a Radim Vrbata shot off his left ankle with 16:12 remaining and did not return. Gretzky said Morris suffered only a bruise and should play Saturday against Anaheim. ... Holmqvist has three goals and two assists in his last six games. ... LW Josh Gratton made his Coyotes debut with a fight against Mark Bell on his fourth shift of the game. Gratton was third in the AHL with 265 penalty minutes in 53 games with the Philadelphia Phantoms when he was traded to Phoenix by the Philadelphia Flyers on March 9.
